Hi, I Shave My Legs Like Any 17 Year Old

Hi, I shave my legs like any 17 year old girl but I have very dark thick hair. When I shave them it physically hurts (like paper cuts or stinging) and doesn't effectively remove the hair. I am left with bleeding from the hair follicles and stinging uncomfortable legs. They continue to itch and sting for days, yet I still need to shave them. Waxing and cremes for hair removal have not been effective in the past. I have tried many different razors and shaving creams but nothing seems to work.
