Hi. I smoked Marijuana for the first time in 8 yrs. Only ever smoked it a total of 4 times before yesterday. I only took four hits total. I've never had any crazy side effects besides a really slow heart beat before. But I think that was bc I was dumb and had a few beers at the same time. This was not the case yesterday. I was sitting watching tv and eating spaghetti, this was about 20 mins after last hit, and it felt like someone hit me with a shot of adrenaline. My heart just took off. I was breathing in and out slowly trying to slow it down and keep calm. I felt like I could run a Marathon. Then my hands and lower arms started trembling. This all lasted about 5-10 mins. I do have tachycardia that just shows up and disappears whenever it wants to. I've had this for 10 yrs. But it's never happened anytime I've ever smoked, as few times as they might be. I was very specific in making sure I got high Quality non-synthetic stuff. I don't do it very often at all, just every once in a blue moon I get the urge. No one I know has ever had this problem and most smoke a heack of a lot more then me. Am I just one of the "lucky" few who can't do anything with out getting the rare side effects? If I do it again will it kill me? I didn't feel like I was dying just felt I could run like the wind but didn't want to, all at the same time. And I did feel like I wanted to jump out of my skin on and off most of the day. I'm soon to be 38. Is my age the problem? I don't take/smoke anything besides cigarettes, Tylenol, Ibuprofen and that's it. I just wanted to relax and not worry for a little while. Others have told me this happend because I haven't done it in so long my body reacted to it or it was fighting it. Is that true or even possible? Any insight would be helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I know it is long.
