Hi, I Started A Prescription For Atenolol This Past Tues.
Hi, I started a prescription for Atenolol this past Tues. 25 mg., to lower my blood pressure 140/88.
Wed. and Thursday my heartrate dropped to about 49 for some readings and usually a resting HR for me is 60ish. Wondering if I can just stop taking the atenolol without any tapering since it is not lowering my blood pressure only my heart rate which was never high to begin with. I'm 46 years old, female, 5,9 and 238 lbs.
