Hi. I Started Taking Crestor In Early January And Have

Hi. I started taking Crestor in early January and have been experiencing severe muscle pain , severe Achilles’ tendon pain, pain In my toes , ankles and wrists and severe muscle pain from T-12 down through and across my entire sacrum. Oddly, for the past two months I have been feeling like my muscles are dying. I know this sounds made up but it really feels like that. It wasn’t until today that I started looking up Crestor and side effects as it i my only new medication. Then I come across this necrotizing myopathy. My PCP wants me to stop taking it for a month to see if it resolves and if it does we can assume it was that. I am afraid it is a more severe reaction than typical. I have also been experiencing immune issues like shingles and recurrence of trigeminal pain from 8 years ago when I had Bell’s palsy. You are probably thinking this woman is crazy but I have honestly been experiencing all of this in the past four months. My legs and gluteus muscles now feel very heavy and fatigued and I have an overall poor feeling. Thoughts?
