Hi I Started Taking A Popular Over The Counter Boric

Hi I started taking a popular over the counter boric acid medication for yeast/ bv infection, 2 days ago. Yesterday I noticed a little blood was coming out when I wiped the area. And then a couple hours later after inserting the 2nd treatment there was a bit more. Today though there has been a lot of blood and small and medium chunks of red ...flesh? I'm assuming that I am not menstruating because I am not due for it for another week and the type, color and consistency of blood is not what I have during menstruation. I have used this product in the past and have not experienced this before. The only difference between then and now is, two days before I started using the boric acid I used an iodine douche (the same company makes it) to try and stimulate a good bacterial response. I am worried that there may be something wrong but I am not having as much pain and the symptoms are getting better. Should I be concerned about my bodies reaction to the boric acid this time?
