Hi I Suffer From Cronic Back And Hip Pain And

Hi I suffer from cronic back and hip pain and I was given tramadol but don't like taking it and am sure the doctor told me if I take amitriptyline not to take it. Is there a good pain med I can take with amitriptyline. I have spinal stenosis and several herniated disc's and I think now I need a hip replacement. I had both my knee's replaced almost 6 years ago due to artritisis.
