Hi. I Tend To Have Boils Almost Constantly Due To

Hi. I tend to have boils almost constantly due to diabetes, One after another. I've had a lot previously which have help holes in my armpits, which pus quite often. However at the moment I have a huge one on the top of my leg which is soft and sponge like to touch and around it is a large red and hot area of my skin.
What could I do to help this? I've tried putting hot compress's onto it and having really hot baths. It's so painfull and I'm now running out of ideas as what I have already done normally works.
