Hi, I Tested Positive For Ureaplasma And Took My Seven-day

Hi, I tested positive for ureaplasma and took my seven-day treatment of 100 mg. Doxcycycline. My steady boyfriend started his 100mg Doxcycycline pills some days later because the dr. said he needs to be treated too... he wasn't tested / he just took the treatment because I had already tested positive. However, I had unprotected sex with the boyfriend six days into his treatment. That is, I had already finished my treatment so I should be free of ureaplasma but if he was on his sixth day of treatment.. Is it possible for me to get re-infected if he had the bacteria and was six days into the antibiotics treatment or would the bacteria already have left his body?
