Hi, I Threw Out A Rib End And Have Been

Hi, I threw out a rib end and have been to the chiroprator.I have pain and inflmation in shoulder and pain down my arm. Bad throbbing unbearable pain. Ibuprofen dosn't help.Someone gave me a 5% Lidocaine patch.Can I use Ice pack on top of this and also Tylonol?
