Hi, I Took Fasting Blood Glucose Test And I Had

Hi,
I took fasting blood glucose test and i had 233 mg/dl result. The doctor prescribed me with gliclazide to be taken once daily before breakfast and metformin twice daily after breafast and dinner. Im 30 years old, male and normal weight. The doctor said to return after 2 months for check up. How long does it take for my blood glucose to normalize with the prescribed medication?
