Hi I Use To Smoke Cigarettes With My Birth Control

Hi I use to smoke cigarettes with my birth control I ended up with a PE in my right lung my PE does not show any more my question is can I smoke weed I quite cigarettes and no longer take contraceptives. I know you can't give a ok but is it safe to will I be okay.
