Hi, I Was A Healthy Active 38 Year Old Female

Hi,

I was a healthy active 38 year old female with no medical problems. I had knee surgery to repair my meniscus on June 2, 2015. and on the 8th of June it was discovered that a had Superficial Blood Clots on my calf. Ever since I have been on Lovenox and Coumadin. My question is, do I need to be on a such aggressive treatment? My orthopedic surgeon feels that I should not be on medication, but my PCP said I needed. I'm having side effect from the medications and I want to get off the medication.
