Hi! I Was Admitted For Emergency Abdominal Surgery One Week

Hi! I was admitted for emergency abdominal surgery one week ago. 18 hrs pre-op on morphine drip, then surgery. I didn't get my 30mg citalopram/day and have not taken them now for 7 days. I'm feeling fine, taking tramacet every 6 hours. I am aware of the possible contraindication which is why I have not taken my daily celexa dose. I would prefer to not take the celexaand see if things are okay. I'm worried that I haven't had any of the withdrawal symptoms that are widely experienced. Hmmm...is it alright that I continue on this path? I've been on this med/dosage for 10 years but likely was not necessary for that long - just never thought about quitting. I'm thinking that the days of severe pain prior to my surgery combined with all the pain killers, anesthesia etc may have gotten me through the "tough" withdrawal . What say ye? Thanks so much for your time and consideration. Teresa
