Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I was at work the about last Tuesday and I work with caustic acid and to do the work I do it is brought up to temperatures of 210 degrees at some points. Well the connection from the hose to my recycle pump broke releasing a lot of steam into the air and I had to go through it to shut it off. It made me cough a bit. I woke the next day noticing that I was coughing more writing it off as a cold I continued until now and my symptoms consist of fever, coughing, runny nose, nasal congestion, shortness of breath, throat irritation, and the occasional pain when breathing. What are your conclusions to my issue and how should I handle this.
