Hi, I Was Cooking Something In The Convection Oven And

Hi, I was cooking something in the convection oven and noticed a strong burning plastic smell. I noticed a piece of melted plastic on the bottom and removed it. I ate the food and the next day went to use it again and noticed the smell again. I then pulled the tray out and noticed a melted bread bag on the bottom. I did not eat the food this time. I am pretty sure I can scrape it off with a razor but should I be concern about the food I ate prior and what about using the convection oven again? Please, I need answers!
