Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I was diagnosed with CML in July last year. I am under the care of a haematologist. I am taking Tasigna 2 tablets twice per day. I take. I other medication. I am. It currently working. My job finished 3 mths ago and I went on a 2 mth holiday. I am just now starting to look for work. I find mental effort / concentration causes fatigue after a while. I struggle with this. I know fatigue is a side affect of the drug. I was working mostly part time since my diagnosis. I am 53 and am concerned I may struggle to hold down a full time job. In your experience does fatigue improve over time or is this how it will be? Do CML patients generally work full time or part time or not at all,
I try to eat well, rest and walk but I have a problem with my left leg knee that restricts my walking. I am booked to see a specialist next mth. I am generally in bed by 9.30 and take my tablets at 6am and 6pm. Thanks for you consideration
