Hi, I Was Diagnosed With Polycythemia Vera About 27 Years

Hi, I was diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera about 27 years ago although I believe I have had it since childhood. I get treated with phielbotomy's and take a baby aspirin. I am 57 years old. I recently had an Endoscopy and am waiting for the results of that, 3 biopsy's were performed. Celiac disease is suspected but not diagnosed as of yet. I am enemic purposely due to the phielbotomys. From what I am reading this doesn't sound like a good thing and it is supposed to be life shortening. My question is are these two disorders related. What is my life expectancy. Sorry about the misspelling of the medical terminology words.
