Hi. I was diagnosed with a uti three weeks ago with quite acute abdominal pain radiating down my legs. Was treated with antibiotics. Went back a week later with the same symptoms and was told it hadnt cleared up. Another course of antibiotics and went back another week later with same pain in lower left quadrant of my abdomen. Dr referred me to local hospital for a sonar. Sonar was normal. All it showed was that the left ovary is slightly larger than the right. They cant say where the pAin is coming from. the third course of antibiotics was ciprofloxacin. Ive been bleeding vaginally for six days outside my period and the antibiotics are finished already. The pain is still there. They dont seem concerned that there is anything wrong. I am 39. There are no masses or growths and my uterus is the correct thickness for my age. What could this be? I am also not constipated.
