Hi. I Was Diagnosed With Bacterial Vaginosis, About 2 Weeks

Hi. I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis, about 2 weeks ago. And was treated with 5 days of metrogel to be followed by one treatment every 4 days. I have a pap smear scheduled for Thursday since I am overdue. Will the metrogel affect my pap smear if I treat tonight and then pap smear is Thursday afternoon?
