Hi I Was Diagnosed With Hyper Thyroid And Then Graves.

Hi I was diagnosed with hyper thyroid and then graves. My TSH labs are elevated and I read that a high TSH means your Hypo. My Endo has not told me if I am Hypo. She is still letting me stay on Methamizole and I have an upcoming RAI appointment. I'm confused because of what I've been reading. How am I hyper with a high TSH. It was 12 and its down to 7.7.
