Hi, I Was Do Some Work Yesterday On My Office,

Hi, I was do some work yesterday on my office, using a stapler to fasten down a phone line that I was routing to another place. I hit the stapler with the outside of my hand in order to make it staple. It hurt some at the time, but tonight it is very sore and hurts more by touching the area that I hit it. Could I have fractured it? And if so, is tomorrow too late to have it looked at and what would be done if there is a fracture?
