Hi, I was in an auto accident (hit by a car). I went to an urgent care center where they took numerous x- rays that showed no broken bones. But my right wrist had a large contusion and is badly bruised. They wrapped my lower arm and gave a me an imobilizing sling which' be been wearing since the accident on Thursday. My wrist and had a both swollen and discolored. I' m going to call an orthopedist on Monday, but other than taking Tylenol, elevating it, and using ice, is there anything else I should be doing? Is it ok to wait until Monday?
