Hi: I Was In The Hospital And Fainted I Was

Hi: I was in the hospital and fainted I was put into ICU as they were concerned about my blood rate which fell down to 25. My blood pressure was changing but now a lot it averaged 157/63. what I would like to know is what was the blood rate for. what does it do for the body.
