Hi I Was Just Told I Have A Mass Extending

Hi I was just told I have a mass extending off of the inferior pole of the left thyroid lobe extending into the thoracic inlet thought to be increased in size since 2013. I do have some hoarseness at times & a little discomfort at times. Sometimes I find things hard to swallow. I had an ultrasound today & am waiting on results. Are you familiar with what this could be?
