Hi. I Was Just Trying Yo Find Some Info For

Hi. I was just trying yo find some info for my friend. He has an abscessed tooth he is being treated for and it has been draining. Hes worried the pus is bad for him to swallow, but he cant really help it. He was worried it would hurt his heart or lungs. Im just looking over articles on the web. Everything Im reading says it wont hurt anything. Is this true ?
