Hi I was misdiagnosed in August with rikketsia, and was just notified that I have Brucellosis. I have been feeling sick ever since August, so my doctor started me on the treatment for Brucellosis 6 days ago. I have been taking doxy and rifampin. My symptoms are starting to get worse, and I am experiencing migraines, neck pain, sweats, and a drop in my body temperature (between 97-95.1). Should I go to the hospital or are the antibiotics just running their course?
