Hi. I Was On Ativan For Three Years. I Started

Hi. I was on Ativan for three years. I started out on .5 mg PRN. I ended up taking 2 mg daily. I am now working with a different psychopharmacologist. I told her my aim is to get off Ativan. She has me doing a taper -- going down half a mg each week. I am now taking 900 mg of gabapentin daily. I am having withdrawal symptoms. Is reducing the Ativan by half a mg a week possibly too fast a taper? Thank you!
