Hi, I Was On Nardil And A High Dose Of

Hi, I was on Nardil and a high dose of benzos for the past 20 years because I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Ten months ago I was suddenly cut off because my Dr moved away and I had bad withdrawl.
About two months after stopping, I started to have trouble speaking. Now, I can barely speak at all.
Stammering, stuttering, and just not able to even start verbalizing what I want to say.
A psychiatrist wrote me a script for a neuro consult, hoping that I would get a CT of my head; and
he wants to rule out some type of non-fluent aphasia. However, I'm sure that it's severe chronic
anxiety; and possibly a conversion disorder. I also have spinal problems: Multiple disk bulges,
spondy, etc. To the point I can't stand up - I'm hunched over.
I don't expect to ever find another Doc who will put me on Klonopin & Xanax again.
I've tried a few meds off label for my severe chronic anxiety but nothing else helps.
(eg: Inderal, Neuronton, Effxor).
It would be nice if I could resolve these problems without meds, but that doesn't seem likely.
I was born anxious.
Do you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
