Hi! I Was Outside The Other Night And Received A

Hi! I was outside the other night and received a bug bite on my thumb, right above my knuckle. It itched at first, swelled a little and then this numbness/weakness started traveling slowly up my arm. I took some Benadryl once it reached passed my elbow and got really nervous once it reached passed my shoulder. Then my neck started to feel pressure and the upper left side of my lip went numb. My husband took to me to the hospital at that point where they gave me IV prednisone and Pepcid to treat an allergic reaction. I left feeling better, but my forearm and wrist were still weak and slightly numb. The reaction came back until I took my meds yesterday and again last night/this morning. I'm pretty sure it was a mosquito bite, but am not certain. Should I still be experiencing this numbness and weakness in my left arm?
