Hi I Was Poked In The Eye Pretty Hard A

Hi I was poked in the eye pretty hard a little over a week ago, I ended up with a black swollen eye, the bruising and swelling is still noticeable but right after it happened I felt numb for a few hours, it ended up subsiding that night but came back a few days ago and is still numb. Is this normal or is there anything I can do to make it stop? It's not painful, just very annoying.
