Hi, I Was Prescribed Pinodin-TX For Pigmentation On My Forehead

Hi, I was prescribed Pinodin-TX for pigmentation on my forehead which is very deep and cheeks. I'm 45 and my menstrual cycle has in the last 1.5years become scanty. Have also used some creams on the area with a little improvement. Am a bit nervous about taking these pills since in general I'm not someone who takes medication at all. Please advice if these pills are safe to use and could help the problem. The Dr. Said they would help balance the production of melanin....?
