Hi, I Was Sick Earlier Tonight And It Was Pretty

Hi, I was sick earlier tonight and it was pretty violent and some of the food still thick so it was hard to get back up! Now I feel like there is something stuck in my throat and it's hard to swallow! I've never experience this before is this normal or have I caused some damage to my throat? Or could infact there be something stuck?
