Hi, I Was Wondering If I Were To Remove My

Hi,
I was wondering if I were to remove my Jejunostomy tube and allow it to close by itself how long would that take? My J tube is not functioning due to severe small bowel dysmotility and leakage and I'm already TPN dependent (last 4 years). At the moment the stoma is frequently ulcerated and gets infected due to yeast colonization of the site and frequently has skin breakdown. Additionally any feeds and medications will leak out. It's been a full years since it's been usable, but in the brief period between tube changes it leaks substantially from the open stoma and I am wondering if nonetheless it could be expected to fully close on it's own and how long that would take? Thanks for you help.
