Hi I Was Wondering What Is Happening In The Brain

Hi I was wondering what is happening in the brain when this happens. I will be on the phone and fall asleep but I can still hear them, while they’re talking In my head I think I’m responding. But they’ll wake me up and ask why I wasn’t saying anything, in my head I thought I was talking back to them.
