Hi. I Waxed My Upper Lip The Other Day And

Hi. I waxed my upper lip the other day and a layer of my skin was peeled off by the wax. It did not bleed but the area was quite red shiny and sore. I have been apply lucas papaw ointment to keep it moist. This morning it has formed a thin layer of scab. Will it scar ? And how long will it take to heal?
