Hi I Went Doctors Over A Month Ago As I

Hi I went doctors over a month ago as I had earache and one day and clear liquid kept coming out, when I woke in the morning it was like my ear exploded, there was brown gunk all on my pillow and in and around the ear, when I went they said it could be a perforated eardrum but they couldn't tell as there was a lot of gunk, so I got put on antibiotics for 5days and then asked to go back 10days later, when I went back they said it was just a infection and put me on a 7day course of antibiotics, for the past 2weeks my ear has still been leaking and doesn't smell like earwax. When cleaning my ears tonight I noticed blood on the q-tip is this anything to worry about? As its happened since I've been on medication for dvt.
