Hi I Went To My GP Today As I Have

Hi I went to my GP today as I have had a continuous headache since 13/4. On this date I had cortisone injections into the occipital nerve which I have had done before but this time the headaches wont go away and getting worse. I also had my BP taken and it was coming out at 154/101 with heart rate 140 bpm but doctor believes this could be hormone related and taking me off the pill. I've been given codine for headaches and also take 25mg nortriptyline at night. Do you think this is the right course of action?
