Hi , I Woke Up In The Middle Of The

Hi , I woke up in the middle of the night itching the roof of my mouth I went to check and there's 3 red marks on the roof of my mouth they ain't spots just marks they are not hurting or itching any more could they be oral infection or due to my cold I'm not sure if to go doctors or dentist to get it checked out ?
