Hi, I'm 18 And Don't Really Know How To Go

Hi, I'm 18 and don't really know how to go about this sort of stuff yet. My right side of my neck and head feels different than the left. Physically there seems to be a larger mass of muscles on the right than left. It's causing me a lot of confusion, and also a huge amount of pain? What is this and how concerned should I be?
