Hi,
I'm 27 years old, with BP generally around 140/80.
One day After the gym I felt acute pulse and pressure on my nose bone veins and started getting head tremors. The head tremors increased, but palpitations started occurring occasionally. When I used to lie down, I felt pulse in the head. Had a heavy disbalanced head. I noticed my stiff neck causing it, with a bit tight jaw muscles. This continued for 20 days.
I was diagnosed with high TSH levels (over 30) with normal t3/ t4. Vitamin B12 was at the lower end of the spectrum. Total cholesterol 160, with HDL 22. Triglycerides were 323.
I visited an endocrinologist and told him about my symptoms. He prescribed me increased dose of 100 mg thyronorm ( I was having 25 mg before that since 1 week). I also told him about palpitations and my anxiety levels, so he also gave me concor 2.5 for one month.
My palpitations reduced and my overall condition became better after 1 week, but I was still having a bit stiff neck with head pulse and heavy head while lying down.
So I decided to see a neurologist. He told me my neck muscles are causing my condition. He gave me lagaflex and told me reduce thyronorm to 50 mg for a week, and then increase to 75mg after 1 week. So I followed that.
All the above happened within 1 month. Right now I'm on thyronorm and concor. When I didn't have concor for 3-4 days, my stiff neck and palpitations were back. I resumed concor and after 2 days I feel better.
NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET RID OF ALL THIS? Should I consult a cardiologist?
