Hi I'm 31, my partner and I have been together for 5 years, he has had a vasectomy so there is no chance of having any more babies! I have the mirena coil only to ease the pain of menstrual cramps and stop my period but we both experience some pain during sex when his penis hits it sometimes, i have had the strings shortened as much as possible. My question is how can I stop my periods completely without an operation? My coil is due to be taken out in 3 months so I'm looking for other options. I cannot take contraceptive pills as they react badly, also the Same with the implant
