Hi, I'm 55 And I've Had Seasonal Asthma All My

Hi, I'm 55 and I've had seasonal asthma all my life. Each fall and spring, i have a dry hacking cough that lasts for months. I take proair (2puffs every 4 hours) and dulera (2 puffs twice daily) but nothing stops my dry hacking cough and eventually, the allergen goes away or I get so exhausted, I ask for prednisone (but even then, I don't feel better until the allergen goes away). I do steam baths, cool mist humidfiers, and slathers tons of vicks on my chest, use cough suppresants and cough drops. I'm getting tired of this routine twice a year! Any suggestions?
