Hi, I'm a 26 year old female experiencing lymphandenectasis under my jaw for the second time. I was referred to a cancer specialist and ENT. I then had the largest node(2.8cm) removed by surgical biopsy almost exactly a year ago. The results came back benign and the doctors just ruled it as an EBV flare up.
However, I now have two more enlarged nodes on each side of where i had the last one removed.
I am experiencing more symptoms along with them this time around...extreme fatigue, massive headaches, swollen/popping/very painful joints all over, hairloss, discoloration in my legs/fingers/toes, sensitivity to light, and mouth ulcers(not sure if it's exactly related to unknown illness).
I visited my previous practioner today and she did not seem to listen nor take my symptoms seriously. She first ran a strep test, proceeded with bloodwork, and then referred me for future a CT scan of the nodes.
The exact same tests as last year.
I'm worried that she has given me a misdiagnosis previously and I'm continuing to suffer through this unknowingly. It has began to affect my mental health along with physical.
Might you have a bit of insight for me? I'm at a loss awaiting countless test results with no actual answers.
Thank you for your time.
