Hi, I'm A 32 Female Diagnosed With Chronic Telogen Effluvium.

Hi, I'm a 32 female diagnosed with chronic telogen effluvium. For the last five years I'v been slowly losing density and thickness all over my hair. The problem is that is starting to show now on the temples and in the front (i can't wear bangs anymore and I am afraid of even blow drying it, i guess depression makes everything worse). I used minoxidil for a couple of months but my eyes were so puffy that I had to quit. Is it possible that this condition last forever or it will naturally come to an end? I try to keep a high protein diet and take my iron and vitamin d suplements but I don't see any results. Is there another cause of CTE other than stress, diet or thyroid problems (which i don't have)? Thanks a lot! :D
