Hi, I'm A 32 Year Old Female Who Has Had
Hi,
I'm a 32 year old female who has had a fever on and off for the last 48 hours. I have also been fatigued and have had constant muscle aches and pains. I have been taking paracetamol when my fever spiked and ibruprofen for the muscle pains.
Yesterday midday I developed a rash on my abdomen, it started by being very itchy and looking like lots of mosquito bites which then blended into each other. It spread all around my abdomen and continued towards my back but then started dissappearing in the afternoon and was practically gone by 8 pm.
However, I woke at 3 am with the rash back on my arms and on my back. This was extremely itchy almost like a burning sensation which was relieved by cold compress. After an hour it seemed to settle and dissappear from my arms and then my legs broke out in splotches. This was again relieved with cold compress.
? relevant family history: My 20 month year old son received his final MMR vaccination approximately 2 weeks ago and had a fever for 2 days last week (8 days after his immunisation, so I assumed it was a reaction from the jab) I did not notice any rash.
Can you help me with a diagnosis of my condition, please?
