Hi, I'm A 54 Year Old Woman. Last Menstrual Period

Hi, I'm a 54 year old woman. Last menstrual period was 5/2017. March of 2018, I awoke with tenderness to my right breast. I could not feel a lump nor did I have any redness or swelling of breast. About two weeks later I awoke with a bad burning sensation to both breasts. I had been away visiting my son when the burning started. Upon returning home I went to see my Gyn because of the two symptoms. She examined my breasts and said my breasts & lymph nodes were smooth & perhaps the burning sensation was because of showering with a different soap product. She also explained that the tenderness could be caused by an estrogen surge. About 3 weeks later I began to develop red blotchy areas that would come & go to both breasts along with the intermittent burning sensations. I was concerned so I went to see a breast surgeon. He examined my breast & felt everything was normal. Felt tenderness to right breast was hormones & redness that comes & goes was contact dermatitis. No swelling or other visual changes noted with breasts at this time. Saw my Gyn on 5/25/18 because my pain in my right breast I had been experiencing was now also in my left breast along with pain & burning to my left armpit. Again she examined my breasts & did not feel anything. I have no constant redness to the breast only the redness that comes & goes, along with intermittent burning sensations to breast and pain to both breast that I describe as pulling, stabbing. Had a bilateral diagnostic mammograms & ultrasounds this morning 5/31/18. The radiologist that spoke to me afterwards said the only thing that showed up was a benign lymph node, I think he said something about a tail? He also said it was nothing to be concerned about. I asked him about the pain I have been experiencing in my breasts and he said it's probably musculoskeletal. I know sometimes breast cancer my not show up on mammograms. Do I continue to pursue answers or except these explanations.
