Hi I'm Asking This Because It's Been Keeping Me Up

Hi I'm asking this because It's been keeping me up for the last 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago I was hooking up with a guy with my underwear on but there was rubbing and I'm convinced I got herpes. I wasn't in the right mind to tell if there was sores. The next day my vagina was itchy and continued to be mildly itchy for a week. It's been somewhat red and I also felt tired and run down. It's now been 2 weeks and it's not itchy anymore and I don't feel flu-ish but I'm still considered it could be herpes because it looks slightly red and inflamed. I also went to my gyno twice and she said it wasn't herpes but I'm scared I can't go back because I'll look paranoid. I also have been looking and touching my my vagina so much it could be inflamed. Please just tell me if I had gotten herpes I would have known by now and I'm being paranoid and my chances of contracting it are minimal without sexual contact
