Hi, I'm Currently 9 Weeks Pregnant And I Have A

Hi,
I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant and I have a referral to book in for my 12 weeks scan which is on the 20th May 2016. Infortunatly my partner is going to be away and I was wondering if I can wait until he is back so we can go together, he won't be returning until I'm 14 weeks pregnant. So my question is - is this too late for my first scan?
I should mention that the scan includes the down screening. I also have the referral for the downs blood test which I'm due to take next week, when I'm 10 weeks.
