Hi, I'm Fair And Quite Freckled. Recently I Was Out

Hi, I'm fair and quite freckled. Recently I was out in the sun and a few days later I noticed one of my freckles on my shoulder had a raised bleeding scab on top, almost merged with the freckle. It appears to be healing but I can't help but wonder if it's the sign of something more serious or a zit or bug bite? I'm terrified it could be a sign of skin cancer.
