Hi. Im Having Pains Just Underneath Of My Rib Cage

Hi. Im having pains just underneath of my rib cage on the left hand side. The pain is a stabbing pain and is at its most painful when i twist my upper body. This started about 2 weeks ago and the chiropractor said that i had strained some cartridge or my sternum. But i fear it may be something more serious like my gall bladder etc
